Mostly everyone in the world wants to choose not to die because of the separation from his or her friends, family and most importantly THE WORLD. Many people in the world want to live because they want to see there future and also to never feel the pain of death. In the novel Tuck Everlasting it was very different because the Tucks family had all gotten eternal life and were very glum. The Tuck family behaved like everyone would in a crazy way because having the gift/curse of living forever can be very sorrowful and when they had lived for so long they didn’t get to experience all the stages in life from child to teenager to adult to old. I believe all stages of life have their own advantages and disadvantages and that how old we are we can still be happy like the Tuck family were in the story after they knew that nothing could be changed.
The story showed us how much people can care for each other because after knowing the secret the tuck family could have easily told the world and became billionaires over night but instead they chose to keep the secret so the world stays how it was planned.... temporary. The story also taught me that people that are greedy and always want more in life always get the least and the most hatred like the yellow-suit man in the story who wanted to have the secret and wanted to be immortal and died.
